Mosaic Movements was created in a moment when it became impossible to stay silent. Across the country, we’ve seen books banned, histories rewritten, and the voices of communities of color, LGBTQ+ people, and immigrants targeted or erased. Arts funding has been gutted. Diversity and equity initiatives have been dismantled. The message is clear: if we want our stories to survive, we must protect them ourselves.
We keep those stories alive — not just as artifacts, but as living, breathing forces for justice and transformation. Our work supports artists who are more than performers or makers; they are cultural keepers, truth-tellers, and visionaries carrying forward the voices of our ancestors.
Through performance, education, and cultural organizing, we reclaim narratives, affirm identities, and build spaces where BIPOC and LGBTQ+ artists can lead, where our histories are honored, and where communities can imagine futures rooted in equity and belonging.
Mosaic Movements stands firm: no matter the political climate, we will keep creating, organizing, and amplifying voices that refuse to be erased.
